CONFAM TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Confam. By creating an account, accessing, or using Confam ("the Platform"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. About Confam

Confam is a peer-to-peer transaction coordination platform designed to help users create, document, monitor, and complete exchange transactions in a structured and transparent manner.

Confam is not:

• a bank;
• a financial institution;
• a money transfer service;
• an escrow provider;
• an investment platform; or
• a custodian of user funds.

Confam never receives, holds, transfers, or controls money belonging to users. All payments occur directly between the parties involved in the transaction.

3. Eligibility

To use Confam you must:

• be legally capable of entering into binding agreements in your jurisdiction;
• provide accurate registration information;
• maintain only one account unless expressly authorized by Confam;
• comply with all applicable laws.

Users are responsible for ensuring that use of the Platform is lawful where they reside.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• provide truthful and accurate information;
• keep your login credentials secure;
• use only bank accounts and payment details you are authorized to use;
• communicate honestly with counterparties;
• upload genuine evidence where required;
• complete transactions in good faith.

You are solely responsible for deciding whether to proceed with any transaction.

5. Nature of Transactions

Every transaction on Confam is a private agreement between the participating users. Confam provides tools to:

• record transaction details;
• track transaction progress;
• facilitate communication;
• document transaction milestones.

Confam is not a party to any transaction.

6. Verification & Trust Features

Confam may provide features including:

• email verification;
• profile verification;
• transaction history;
• completion statistics;
• success rates;
• trust indicators.

These features are intended to assist users in making informed decisions. They do not constitute a guarantee of honesty, identity, financial ability, or future conduct. Users remain responsible for exercising their own judgment before entering any transaction.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

• impersonate another individual;
• create fake accounts;
• provide false payment information;
• attempt fraud;
• upload forged documents;
• manipulate ratings or trust indicators;
• use the Platform for money laundering or illegal activities;
• threaten, harass, or abuse other users;
• interfere with Platform security.

Violation of these Terms may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal.

8. Disputes Between Users

Confam understands that disputes may occasionally arise between users. Where a dispute is reported, Confam may, at its sole discretion:

• receive information from the parties;
• review transaction records available on the Platform;
• review evidence voluntarily submitted by users;
• facilitate communication where appropriate.

However:

• Confam does not act as a court, arbitrator, mediator, or legal representative for either party.
• Confam does not determine legal liability or ownership of funds.
• Confam does not guarantee financial recovery.

The responsibility for resolving disputes, recovering funds, pursuing legal remedies, or enforcing agreements rests entirely with the users involved. Confam may suspend or restrict accounts where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, abuse, or misuse of the Platform, regardless of whether the dispute has been resolved.

9. No Guarantee

Confam makes no guarantee regarding:

• completion of transactions;
• honesty of users;
• payment by counterparties;
• recovery of funds;
• uninterrupted availability of the Platform.

Use of Confam is entirely at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Confam, its founders, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:

• financial loss;
• theft;
• fraud committed by users;
• delayed payments;
• currency fluctuations;
• indirect or consequential damages;
• lost profits;
• reputational harm arising from use of the Platform.

Confam's total liability, if any, shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Account Suspension & Termination

Confam reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any account that:

• violates these Terms;
• engages in fraudulent activity;
• threatens the safety of other users;
• attempts to manipulate the Platform.

Termination may occur without prior notice where necessary to protect the Platform or its users.

12. Intellectual Property

All software, branding, trademarks, logos, graphics, text, and content forming part of Confam remain the exclusive property of Confam unless otherwise stated. Users may not copy, reproduce, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any part of the Platform without prior written permission.

13. Changes to the Platform

Confam may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Platform at any time without prior notice.

14. Changes to these Terms

Confam may update these Terms periodically. The latest version will always be available on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction specified by Confam in its legal notices. Any legal proceedings relating to these Terms shall be brought before the courts having jurisdiction in that location, subject to applicable law.
