1. Our Mission
Confam exists to make peer-to-peer exchange transactions more transparent, accountable, and trustworthy. Every member of our community contributes to that goal. These Community Standards explain the behaviour expected from everyone who uses Confam. Failure to follow these standards may result in warnings, suspension, restriction, or permanent removal from the Platform.
2. Respect the Community
Every user must:
- Treat other users respectfully.
- Communicate honestly and professionally.
- Avoid abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or offensive language.
- Respect differences in opinion during negotiations.
Confam encourages constructive communication at all times.
3. Be Honest
You must always provide truthful information. This includes:
- Your identity.
- Your payment details.
- Transaction information.
- Evidence submitted during disputes.
- Communications with other users.
Providing false information undermines trust and may lead to immediate account suspension.
4. Complete Transactions in Good Faith
If you agree to a transaction, you should make every reasonable effort to complete it according to the agreed terms. Do not:
- Intentionally delay transactions;
- Intentionally mislead counterparties;
- Repeatedly abandon transactions without reasonable explanation;
- Create transactions with no genuine intention of completing them.
5. Use Only Your Own Payment Information
Only provide payment details that belong to you, or that you are legally authorized to use. Never provide stolen bank accounts, another person's payment details without authorization, or fraudulent payment information.
6. Fraud Is Strictly Prohibited
Confam has zero tolerance for fraud. Examples include:
- Collecting payment without fulfilling your obligation;
- Sending fake transfer receipts or payment confirmations;
- Impersonating another user or participating in scams;
- Using stolen identities or deliberately providing false evidence.
Where there is reasonable evidence of fraudulent activity, Confam may suspend or permanently terminate the account.
7. Fake Accounts
Users must not create fake accounts, operate multiple accounts to manipulate trust, or create accounts for another person without authorization. Confam reserves the right to merge, suspend, or permanently remove duplicate or fraudulent accounts.
8. Manipulation of Trust Features
Users must never attempt to manipulate completion rates, trust scores, verification status, transaction statistics, or future reputation systems. Artificially inflating trust indicators undermines the integrity of the Platform.
9. Abuse of the Dispute Process
The dispute process exists to support honest users. Users must not submit false disputes, fabricate evidence, knowingly provide misleading information, or repeatedly abuse the reporting system. False reports may themselves result in enforcement action.
10. Platform Security & Illegal Activities
Users must not attempt unauthorized access to Confam systems, introduce malware, or bypass security features. Confam must not be used for unlawful purposes, including fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or identity theft. Where legally required, Confam will cooperate with law enforcement authorities.
11. Enforcement
Where these Community Standards are violated, Confam may issue warnings, temporarily restrict account features, suspend or permanently terminate accounts, preserve relevant platform records, or remove offending content.
Our Commitment — The Confam Promise
"We cannot guarantee that every transaction will be successful. What we can promise is that we will continuously build tools, policies, and safeguards that promote transparency, accountability, and informed decision-making. Our goal is to make peer-to-peer exchange transactions safer and more trustworthy for everyone."
